Welcome to the church of St Mark the Evangelist, situated in Milton Ward,
close to The Forum, South Essex College/Southend University Centre, and University of Essex, Southend Campus.
Known as St Mark's Church in Southend, St Mark's is Liberal-Catholic in tradition and inclusive in welcome. Also happy that we can host live music events featuring local bands.

Help Those In Need
“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord,

When the church is open - please note there is now a community blessing basket in the church for the collection of tins and other goods that last.
Everyone is welcome to take something out or add a tin or two. It will be anonymous. It is called a blessing basket because if you give you are blessed and you are being a blessing to your neighbours; and if you take you are blessed with knowing people care and you in turn bless those who gave. It is a win-win situation!
